It’s Friday the 13th. Far too dangerous to go outside. Stay indoors, saddle up with a takeaway and enjoy some top telly.
Once again The Graham Norton Show comes with some wonderful celeb guests. It’s going to be a good weekend for fans of Norton’s cutting wit, as he’ll also be taking us through Eurovision this Saturday on BBC One from 8pm.
But that’s another article for another day. Let’s get into what celebrities will be trying their best to charm us on Graham’s sofa tonight.
Jennifer Lawrence
Heading up this week’s guests is the delightful Jennifer Lawrence. J-Law will be popping up in our cinemas next week in X-Men: Apocalypse, so expect the Academy Award winner to be full of stories of getting into blue make up to play Mystique.
James McAvoy
Joining Jennifer this week will be her X-Men: Apocalypse co-star James McAvoy. James’ hair looks to have recovered from going bald to play Charles Xavier in the new film (which is out next Wednesday), and is scheduled to appear in four films by the end of next month. It’s good to have the Scottish actor back; he’s clearly got some chops.
Johnny Depp
Black Mass and Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp is returning to Graham’s sofa to give us a little sneak peak of the new Alice in Wonderland film. Here’s hoping he tells us about his recent shenanigans in Australia while here’s there too, eh?
Jack Whitehall
Comedian and actor Jack Whitehall will be making up the Brit contingent for this week’s show. He’s here to plug his role in his first Hollywood movie – the ensemble comedy Mother’s Day, in which he co-stars with Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston.
The Fresh Meat star has been making a name for himself in recent weeks following a few cheeky comments about Arsene Wenger. We’re hoping he opens up about his weird celebrity beef with Sylvester Stallone as well. Charity boxing match anyone?
Will.I.Am
Providing music this week (and ruining our theme of J in our guests) is former Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am. He will be performing new single, “Boys and Girls” with a little help from new vocalist Pia Mia. Give it a listen, we think it’s a bit of a summer banger.
The Graham Norton Show is on BBC One tonight (May 13) at 10.35pm
