His agent confirmed the news.
It’s shaping up to be a good few days for Eminem fans because aside from the imminent release of his new album, Revival, Slim Shady’s agent has also revealed that the rapper will be going on tour next year.
In an interview with Pollstar, the hip-hop legend’s agent, Cara Lewis, has confirmed that the tour will happen next year on ‘select dates.’ While there was no exact confirmation of the number of days, it’s extremely likely that Eminem will be playing in the UK.
This summer, the 45-year-old recently appeared at the Reading, Leeds and Summer Sessions Festivals. He also played two nights at Wembley back in 2014 on his Rapture Tour.
The fact that he’s only performing a few ‘select dates’ appears to confirm the touring approach that he discussed during a recent interview with Interview Magazine. When asked about the idea of undertaking a major tour, he said: “I’m not sure. We usually do mini-tours.”
Regardless of the number of gigs, Eminem fans might want to keep a little bit of extra cash in their bank accounts. We have a feeling that official confirmation might happen soon.
