HBO has submitted Game of Thrones season eight for multiple Emmys

Wil Jones

You might not have liked how the show ended, but HBO are proud of it

The final season of Game of Thrones has met with a somewhat mixed reaction when it finally concluded last month – though to be fair, with that much weight of expectation on it, it was basically impossible for it to please everyone.

Still, the eighth season received plenty of criticism from fans, in particular for it’s handling of Daenerys Targaryen, and show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss perceived ‘rushing’ of the show to its conclusion.

Whatever you personally thought of it, it would appear HBO themselves are proud of the show, and have submitted the eighth season for multiple Emmys.

As reported by Winter Is Coming, here is the massive list of categories HBO have entered the show into (note: this doesn’t been they’ve been nominated yet – that all comes later).
