If you keep up with the glitzy glamour of showbiz news you will likely have heard the story about Henry Cavill’s now infamous moustache.
If not, here it goes. Cavill had finished playing superman in 2017’s Justice League and immediately set about growing a moustache in anticipation for his next role in the latest Mission Impossible film.
All was well, until Justice League director Zach Snyder required Cavill to return to set for some extra scenes.
Utterly opposed to shaving his new furry friend, the makers of Justice League instead decided to CGI the moustache out with hilarious, disturbing consequences.
Fast forward to the present and the moustache is no more. Having finished shooting Mission Impossible, the actor has said goodbye to his facial companion in emotional fashion.
To those of us who remember his memorable hair-free face in Justice League, it may take some getting used to. But thankfully, he has released this hilarious tribute video to soften the blow.
