If your childhood was anything like ours, you saw Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory roughly one million times as a kid.
The 1971 film is still popular today (despite Johnny Depp’s best efforts to ruin all the good will about the original) as is the book it was based on, written by Roald Dahl.
It’s been 44 years since the film first hit screens, and the good people of NBC got some of the original cast back together again to celebrate.
It’s strange to compare them now to when they were children. Some of them look similar, such as Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt). But others look totally different – just wait until you see Peter Ostrum, aka Charlie Bucket.
