According to Alternative Nation, Rose was late for the start of a gig in Florida because he was watching live-action TMNT sequel The Secret of the Ooze, and the DJ relaid this to the owner in fairly blunt terms.
“Axl’s management said he was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, and that Axl’s attention was 100% on the movie and couldn’t be bothered.”
When you’re the king, you can do anything.
