Hugh Jackman has hinted that his next movie appearance as Wolverine may be his last in the iconic role.
The Australian actor is set to appear in a sequel to The Wolverine, and intimated via Instagram that it may be the final time he dons the famous claws.
Fans had hoped that he would feature in X-Men: Apocalypse, the next movie in the successful Marvel franchise, but Jackson’s cryptic message seems to suggest otherwise.
The 46-year-old has been playing the grumpy mutant since 2000, having won round comic enthusiasts who were initially sceptical about his casting in the enigmatic role.
