The BBC have confirmed the return of an iconic villain to Doctor Who.
John Simm will reprise his role as the Master, a Time Lord and arch-nemesis of the Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi.
Simm previously featured on the popular sci-fi show between 2007 and 2010, and his return for Capaldi’s final season was confirmed on Wednesday.

“Thanks to the power of time travel I’m back,” Simm said
“It’s always a pleasure to work with this great team of people and I can’t wait for you all to see what the Master gets up to in the next series.”
The actor was last seen in the role on New Year’s Day back in 2010. The new series begins on Saturday April 15 on BBC One.
