It looks like Idris Elba is going to have another huge year in 2016.
The actor is being talked about being tipped for an Oscar nomination for ‘Beasts Of No Nation’ – and could have secured a job in Hollywood for a while after landing a part in ‘The Dark Tower’.
The Brit is reportedly being eyed up by Sony Pictures to take on the role of lead gunslinger Roland Deschain in the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel series, according to Deadline.

Elba would star alongside ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ star Matthew McConaughey, who is in talks to play the villainous Man in Black.
It’s set to be directed by ‘A Royal Affair’ filmmaker Nikolaj Arcel, who also co-wrote the Swedish film version of ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’.
