Having announced a plethora of new shows this week, Netflix have reaffirmed their commitment to producing original content.
While we’re all extremely excited about the new shows that will be coming our way, the online streaming giant already has a stunning library of documentaries for you to enjoy.
If you haven’t seen Making A Murderer, 13th, Precinct Seven Five, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story or The Fear of 13 then you’re in for a treat, but for anyone that’s looking for something new, we highly recommend Shadow of Truth.
The four-part documentary series revolves around the murder of 13-year-old Tair Rada at her high school in Israel during 2006.
A week later, the police arrested Roman Zadorov, a Ukrainian immigrant who had worked in her school as a temp. He eventually confessed to the murder.
Despite this, many people still believe that he is innocent and have their own theories as to what happened on that horrific day.
Just like Making A Murderer, Shadow of Truth is equal parts gripping, heart-wrenching and infuriating.
Inaccurate confessions, suspicious occurrences and a crime case where too many of the pieces don’t add up are all at play here.
In fact, some people have even stated that it’s the most enjoyable documentary that’s currently available on Netflix.
