With another series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here gearing up for launch this weekend, the show has been hit with a truly astonishing claim. Sort of.
As reported by The Mirror, it seems parts of the reality TV show’s set aren’t actually very real at all. How ironic.
According to them, some of the jungle props are said to be fake and ‘not as sturdy as the real deal’ – bad news with reports that a cyclone, high winds and flooding may be set to strike the area in which the show is filmed.
The information, which originally comes from the always-reliable Women’s Own magazine suggests that several of the rocks that makeup the set are actually made of papier mache. Even more shocking, they add that the water fall under which the various celebrities contestants have been known to shower is actually man-made. It even gets switched off for three hours on a daily basis.
The next thing you know they’ll be telling us the contestants aren’t actually marooned deep in the Australian rainforest, hundreds of miles from the nearest luxurious 5* hotel…
