‘You were grabbing booty bruv!’
Matt Hancock bagged the bronze medal after making it into the final of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here last night.
The former health secretary exceeded expectations by making it into the last three, telling Ant and Dec he came into the show so people could see what he is like “as a person”.
“I just wanted to be myself”, he added, before making his way across the iconic bridge.
Girlfriend Gina Coladangelo greeted Hancock at the end.
The MP was heard whispering “I love you so much” to his partner as they saw each other for the first after spending the last three weeks apart.
Viewers took to social media as the pair embraced, with many comparing the reunion to the infamous pictures of the couple that emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to the former Health Secretary having to resign from his cabinet position.
One viewer wrote: “not matt basically recreating the scandal picture with gina at the end of the bridge.”
While another added: “NOT MATT KISSING GINA LIKE HE DID WHEN HE CHEATED ON HIS WIFE.”
A third joked: “we’ve already seen matt snogging gina once don’t need to see it again thanks,” while a fourth asked: “Did anyone else have disturbing flashbacks when Matt hugged Gina?”
Meanwhile, reaction elsewhere was of a similar ilk:

Matt follows Mike Tindall as the latest celebrity to leave camp, as the former rugby star came in fourth place – landing him the chance to take part in the infamous Celebrity Cyclone challenge.
Mike left viewers in stitches as he rugby tackled Matt to the floor – which he later claimed he did because he needed something to hold on to to stop him being pushed back by the water cannons.
Following his eviction Mike was also met by his significant other, as he reunited with wife Zara, the granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Mike was heard saying: “I missed you so much!” to his wife of over ten years, as they walked off the bridge together hand-in-hand.
