Hard to believe it’s been 10 years already.
Poor old Guy Goma. He arrived at the BBC for a job interview – and accidentally got put on camera to do a live interview.
And ten years on we’re enjoying the moment all over again.
Guy was called in for a job interview, but when he arrived he was mistaken for technology journalist Guy Kewney and brought straight onto the set of BBC News 24.
He managed to stumble his way through the questions and continue with the interview even though he hadn’t a clue what was going on.
Guy went on to become a bit of a celebrity – he appeared on Have I Got News for You, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.
His TV appearance also inspired an episode of The IT Crowd.
The 10 year anniversary has brought glee to online commentators all over again…
