The Office began originally as a BBC-produced docu-comedy series written by and starring Ricky Gervais as hapless manager David Brent.
The UK series ran for two seasons from 2001, but it was the US remake starring Steve Carell as Michael Scott, manager of Dunder Mifflin Paper in the town of Scranton, that had real longevity.
The show had nine seasons and 201 episodes and was one of the most successful sitcoms ever. One of the best aspects of the show was the will they/won’t they plotline between Jim Halpert and Pam Beesley, played by John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer.

They are universally acknowledged as one of television’s cutest couples, so we were delighted to see a picture of the actors together after Jenna attended a performance of Dry Powder, a play Krasinski is currently starring in.

Needless to say, the reunion sent all “Jam” worshippers into an emotional frenzy:

Just wrote a final paper about how important Jim and Pam's relationship on The Office was. I'm not crying there's just something in my eyes.

It reminds us of the time recently that Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler reunited after actor Chris Meloni had left Law and Order: SVU.
