Safe to say she’s not a fan.
Every now and then, Harry Potter creator and author JK Rowling wades into the politics of the muggle world – like when she released a lengthy statement asking Scottish people to vote to remain part of the UK.
Rowling has also expressed her distaste for current UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on a few occasions. Corbyn is currently engaged in a leadership battle with challenger Owen Smith. Corbyn currently leads Smith by a landslide margin in the polls 62% to 38%.
Nevertheless, Rowling has continued to voice her opposition to the Islington North MP, taking to Twitter on Wednesday morning to reaffirm her disapproval of Corbyn’s leadership.
When asked by a fan what she does when she can’t sleep, she replied “Try to stop thinking about Jeremy Corbyn.”
This was shortly after she’d posted a less specific tweet that read “One day in the far distant future we’ll look back and we WONT LAUGH, LABOUR, BECAUSE THIS ISN’T BLOODY FUNNY.”

Further to this, Rowling also retweeted a question for Corbyn submitted to Pink Times that demands from Corbyn an explanation for aligning with “homophobic individuals, groups and regimes,” including the IRA.
