The performance followed an earlier claim from Depp that he had made fans ‘waffles’ for breakfast
Johnny Depp continues to delight his hordes of fans, this time with an impromptu performance of his famous character – Captain Jack Sparrow.
Arriving at the Virginia County Courthouse in Fairfax Virginia, for his defamation proceedings against Amber Heard, Depp wound down the window of his SUV on Wednesday and engaged with his supporters who have been present throughout proceedings.
Depp is suing his ex-wife for $50m for an op-ed she wrote in which he believes inferred he physically and sexually abused her. Heard is counter-suing for $100m.

After expressing his gratitude to the hordes of fans lining the roadside, one woman can be heard yelling out, “You’ll always be the Captain Jack Sparrow”.
The comment captures the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s attention, and he turns to face her while launching into character.
Speaking with the classic slurred British accent, he says: “He’s still around somewhere, I see him now and again.”
The woman replies, “Hey, don’t forget his jar of dirt and the mega pint,” referencing a number of viral moments from the ongoing trial.
Depp’s involvement in the movie franchise has come up regularly during the case, with his talent agent claiming he lost £18 million from the sixth instalment after being removed from the project due to Heard’s claims.
A petition to get Depp into the movie franchise has so far been signed by more than 700,000 people.
The Jack Sparrow performance follows an earlier incident where Depp claimed to have made awaiting fans “waffles” for breakfast.
