Good news, Jurassic World fans: Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are both returning for a sequel in 2018.
With this summer’s blockbuster pulling in a whopping
$1.5bn worldwide and counting, it hardly comes as a surprise that we’ll be seeing more genetically modified dinosaurs in three years’ time.
Universal Pictures announced on Thursday evening that Jurassic World 2 will chew up the summer cinematic scenery from June 22nd 2018.
While the film’s two main stars will be back, director Colin Trevorrow is only expected to co-write the film.
“Jurassic Park is like Star Wars; different directors can give a different taste to each movie. I would be involved some way, but not as director,” he said before Jurassic World’s release.
