‘Come on Billie we love you please apologise to Trav’

Kanye West has asked Billie Eilish to apologise to Travis Scott after she allegedly made a dig at the rapper during a recent concert.

Last week, Eilish is said to have stopped in the middle of a live show to help a fan who was struggling to breathe. After altering medical staff to bring an inhaler to the fan, she said: “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going.”

Reports claim Eilish’s audience were cheering after she made the statement.

Responding on Instagram, Kanye wrote in capital letters: “Come on Billie we love you please apologise to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives no one intended this to happen Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologise before I perform.”

Last November, 10 people died after suffering from ailments like cardiac arrest and asphyxiation in crowd crushes during Scott’s performance at his own Astroworld festival in Houston, USA.

Scott was criticised after he continued to perform and bought out rapper Drake during pleas from concert-goers asking him to stop.

Following the incident, which raised hundreds of lawsuits, Scott told US radio host and TV personality Charlamagne Tha God: “I’ve been on different types of emotions, an emotional rollercoaster.

“It gets so hard because I always feel connected to my fans, and I went through something and my fans went through something and people’s parents went through something and it really hurts. It really hurts the community, it hurts the city. It’s just been a lot of thoughts, a lot of feelings, a lot of grieving, and just trying to wrap my head around it.”

West made a surprise appearance on stage during Scott’s set at Astroworld in 2019 but wasn’t on the bill in 2021.

Scott was scheduled to play at Coachella but was removed from the line-up following the Astroworld tragedy, Variety reports.
