Kristen Stewart thinks she’s ‘probably only made five really good films’

The former Twilight star doesn’t seem to rate her filmography that highly

Kristen Stewart reckons she’s only been in “five really good films”, apparently.

As reported in a Sunday Times interview with Stewart ahead of her upcoming biopic on the life of Princess Diana, simply entitled Spencer, the 31-year-old actress said: “I’ve probably made five really good films out of 45 or 50 films?

The interview covered everything from the Twilight years and living in the public eye to the pressure and expectation of playing such an important and beloved cultural figure.

However, by the sounds of it, this role may be one of the few she was most certain of as she described picking jobs and the casting process as a “total crapshoot”.

While she wouldn’t nail her colours to the mast on the specific films she was really proud of – or less proud of, adding that she didn’t want to be mean – she did admit that her performances in Olivier Assayas’ films Personal Shopper and Clouds of Sils Maria were among her favourites.

Beyond that, Stewart suggested that her standout roles are “few and far between” but it’s certainly sparked some debate on social media, as fans have rushed to her defence and are cutting her self-deprecation short.

Yes, she was in Zathura: A Space Adventure, if you can cast your mind back to your childhood years.

Unsurprisingly, Twilight stans were quick to jump in and effectively try to end the Twitter discussion.

Chip up, gal – you’re alright in our books. What do you reckon: what would be your top five Kristen Stewart performances?
