“Gaga is offering a $500,000 reward for information about the dogs.”
Lady Gaga’s two dogs were stolen while out on a walk with their dog walker who was shot in a robbery on Wednesday. The dog walker is currently in hospital and the dogs have still not been found.
The singer, who is currently in Italy for work, offered a reward of $500,000 for any information after she heard the news about her two French Bulldogs, Koji and Gustav.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told PEOPLE: “A robbery occurred at 9:40 Wednesday night on Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood, during which two French Bulldogs were stolen.
“The male victim was transported to the hospital in unknown condition and the shooter, described as a male who used a semi-automatic handgun, was seen leaving in a vehicle going northbound toward Hollywood Boulevard.”
Gaga’s representative confirmed to PEOPLE that “the victim was the singer’s dog walker and the two dogs were her French Bulldogs. Gaga is offering a $500,000 reward for information about the dogs.”
The star posts regularly with her dogs on Instagram, and she’s been known to dress them up on Halloween in outfits.
In 2016, Gaga adopted Gustav and added him to her family of canines. She posted a picture back then with her other four legged friends meeting their new family member.
She captioned the pic: “I’m proud to announce we added a new member to the #JOANNE family. I haven’t named him yet but I call him both cowpig and moopig in the meantime!”
The caption continued: “I chose him last moment because my best friend since I was 4 @booconnor Chef extraordinaire of @thepomeroynyc bought him, we didn’t want them to be separated!”
