Lewis Capaldi and Emma Watson were spotted laughing and joking together as they watched the women’s singles finals at Wimbledon.
The singer and actor were sat together in the Royal Box on Centre Court on Saturday for the finals of the women’s tournament, which saw Markéta Vondroušová triumph over Ons Jabeur.
The celeb duo were photographed chatting and laughing together, and fans expressed their joy at the somewhat unlikely pairing.

Other celebs in attendance on Centre Court on women’s final day included Maggie Smith, Nick Jonas and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
One person wrote: “Seeing Lewis Capaldi and Emma Watson together at Wimbledon was not on my 2023 bingo card but I’m here for it.”

Another said: “Lewis Capaldi and Emma Watson is such a random crossover, but an enjoyable one nonetheless.”

And a third commented: “Emma Watson and Lewis Capaldi I can’t.”
Meanwhile others noticed that the pair were sat in front of the environment secretary Therese Coffey, prompting some to imagine what conversation she may have tried to strike up.
Those in attendance on Saturday watched history unfold as Vondroušová became the first unseeded player ever to win the women’s singles tournament.
The 24-year-old Czech player triumpher over Tunisian opponent Jabeur in straight sets.
On Sunday, Novak Djokovic will be aiming for his fifth consecutive Wimbledon title when he takes on Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s final.
Capaldi’s trip to Wimbledon was one of his first public appearances since his performance at Glastonbury, during which he struggled with ‘tics’ caused by his Tourettes.
Following his Pyramid Stage set, he announced her would be taking a break from touring and performing for the “foreseeable future” to focus on his wellbeing.
