Linda Nolan revealed that her cancer has spread to her brain during a heartbreaking interview on Monday.

The singer, first diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 before being given the all-clear a year later, was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer in her hip in 2017 which later spread to her liver in 2020.

But speaking on Good Morning Britain, she said that her cancer had now spread to her brain.

She told ITV viewers: “I’ve always been hopeful with my treatment and what’s going on in my life.

“I just want to tell you unfortunately for me my cancer has spread to my brain that’s obviously frightening because there isn’t much treatment for brain cancer except for chemotherapy.”

Nolan explained that she had also been offered the chance to try a new drug as part of a clinical trial alongside her ongoing chemotherapy.

“I’m not giving up. I’m positive. I’m going to lose my hear again for the fourth time,” she said.

She also told hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid that doctors hailed the new “wonder drug” and that she hopes it will do “wonders for [her].”

Pictures of Nolan visiting the hospital at the weekend, prompting her to tell her fans that she would be appearing on GMB.

On Sunday, she tweeted: “Thank you all for the love and support, following those pictures coming out this weekend. I’ll be on @GMB tomorrow morning at 8:20am, with some news.”
