Liam Llewellyn has left Love Island after barely a week at the villa in an early shock for the 2022 cast.
The full-time student has walked off the hit ITV2 reality show series, according to The Sun, opting to head home early despite the impending recoupling.
Having been paired up with Michael Owen’s daughter, Gemma, following the first public vote, the 22-year-old South Wales lad has decided to cut his time short.

Viewers tuning in to tonight’s episode will see how and why Liam leaves the reality competition early, with sources stating that the cast has been left “devastated”.
The same source says the details of his departure are not yet known, so those spending Friday night sitting in watching telly will no doubt waiting to see the drama unfold.
The Newport native got right to the business of dating but was, ultimately, rebuffed twice during Thursday night’s episode when both Afia Tonkmor and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu ultimately confessed that they liked other male contestants.
The son of former Wales international rugby union player, David Llewellyn – who played club-level rugby for Ebbw Vale, as well as Newport and Neath – the Cardiff postgrad will be turning his focus back to studying for his Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning.
He made a splash before even stepping into Love Island with a rather amusing confession about Elton John which had the audience cracking up from the get-go.
