She was only 14 when she started on the show
When The Lord of the Rings finished filming, the actors that played nine companions of the Fellowship got the Elvish number nine tattooed on their body to mark the time they’d spent working together. It was the end of an epic chapter in their lives, and it was the sort of thing that needs commemorating.
However, The Lord of the Rings is only 9 hours long (11 hours if you watch the extended editions). Game of Thrones has run for around 70 hours so far, and there is still there is still one more season to go. That deserves some ink, right?
Maisie Williams definitely thinks so. She was cast as Ayra Stark when she was just 14, in 2011, so it has been a massive part of her life.
On her Insta Stories, she teased getting a tattoo that said “No One”.
She then shared the finished piece on the pack of her neck, alongside two over tattoos.

“No one” is, as Game of Thrones fans know, a reference to the Faceless Men, the guild of assassins that Ayra Stark joins in the later seasons of the show.
She’s not the first cast member to get a Game of Thrones tattoo though – last month Sophie Turner revealed she got a dire wolf on her arm.
