Right, that’s it. It’s all over. Get the marriage annulled. Katy Perry doesn’t approve of the dress.
Katy Perry told Entertainment Tonight that she felt Meghan Markle’s dress needed ‘one more fitting’.
Katy teed it up by saying that she was ‘so happy for them’ and praised Meghan’s humanitarian efforts as well as the fact that she’s a proud feminist, but that’s not going to make headlines, is it?
The follow-up question asked for Katy’s opinion on the dress, to which she replied “I would’ve done one more fitting… Kate won” and with that bombshell, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must now have their marriage annulled with immediate effect.
This is because a worldwide clause came into effect in 1932 which clearly states that all wedding dresses must get Katy Perry’s firm approval, otherwise the marriage will not be recognised in a court of law.
Unfortunately, even for Royalty such as Meghan and Harry, they too fall under this law which governs the land. This will surely come as a huge blow to the couple who have just celebrated their second day of marriage. Nobody will have seen this coming, which is why it carries such a sting .
With regards to Katy’s latter comment stating that “Kate won”, that now carries quite a bit of weight to it as well. Kate Middleton will now become the supreme ruler of the United Kingdom in an unprecedented move. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II must honourably step aside and respect Katy Perry’s wishes, which deem Kate Middleton to be the winner.
Such is the predicament we find ourselves in, unfortunately. But at the end of the day, this is Katy Perry’s world and we are all just living in it.
