The pair made a deal
Millie Bobby Brown agreed to marry one of her Stranger Things co-stars before she married her husband, Jake Bongiovi.
The British actress, 20, burst onto the scene eight years ago playing Eleven in the Netflix sci-fi series Stranger Things, for which she received two Primetime Emmy Awards.
Brown and many of her cast mates have forged life-long friendships after growing up on set together.
Earlier this year, Brown married the son of Jon Bon Jovi, actor Jake Bongiovi, 22, in an intimate ceremony in the US.
The pair started dating three years ago, they first connected via Instagram before they started hanging out as friends.
The couple first shared snaps, confirming their relationship in November 2021 after Brown posted a blurry photo of her kissing the actor while on the London Eye.
The Damsel actress teased their engagement last year when she posted a photo of herself embracing Bongiovi wearing a diamond ring.
The caption quoted Taylor Swift’s song ‘Lover’: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
However, it was revealed in a 2022 interview with MTV news that she had vowed to marry her Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp who played Will Byers.
The pair said: “We said if we’re not married by 40, we’ll get married together because we’d be good roomies.
“Completely platonically, we would still be really good roomies.”
She went on to set some boundaries with Schnapp saying: “No kids, though, because I could not deal with a child of yours…Yeah, no kids at all. Only dogs…
“And separate bedrooms, for sure – my God, you’re so messy.”
Though that platonic marriage appears to be off the cards, the pair remain good friends.
Brown spoke highly of Schnapp saying: “We have built such a friendship together, I feel like. And you’re also one of the longest friends I’ve ever had, I don’t know if you know that, but I didn’t grow up in school so I didn’t have any friends from my childhood, so you really are one of those people for me.
“Something I do want to add is that, being a young girl in the industry, it’s really hard when you are constantly surrounded by male energy.
“Something that Noah has always done so well is make me feel so comfortable, so empowered, and he is an amazing co-star to riff off of.”
She went on to say that Schnapp has been one of her biggest supporters cheering her on adding: “I think it’s really nice to have boys like that.”
