If you’re a Netflix subscriber with any amount of free time, you’ve probably seen at least one episode of Narcos.
The true crime programme, focusing on druglord Pablo Escobar, was ranked in a major survey as the second most-watched show in the world, behind Game of Thrones.
However the streaming service has questioned the research that put it in second place, with an exec claiming it is actually number one.
“We’re pleased to take the number two spot, but think it’s number one because they don’t measure all the devices,” chief content officer Ted Sarandos said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show is already set for a second season after proving a smash hit on Netflix from the get-go.
It is one of a number of successful original shows on the service, alongside the likes of House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and Jessica Jones.
