If you’re anything like us then you were planning to spend a fair chunk of this weekend getting stuck into the latest Marvel/Netflix collaborative series, Luke Cage.Â
But users of the world’s biggest streaming service weren’t able to watch Luke Cage on Saturday night. They weren’t able to watch anything at all, in fact, because Netflix went DOWN at peak binging-with-a-beer time.
Oh shit indeed.
Rumours of the outage began circulating on the internet before Netflix confirmed it on their official Twitter account.

One guy actually blamed Luke Cage.Â
Another decided that the site being down wasn’t a good enough excuse to do something productive instead.Â

And some didn’t appear to be affected at all.Â

With so many tech wizards working around the clock to make sure people stay glued to their sofas, it inevitably wasn’t too long before everything was up and running again, and luckily nobody was forced into doing something reckless like initiating a conversation with relatives.
And we're back. Thanks for bearing with us. pic.twitter.com/WLEWK3pYvt
