After taking over the agenda at the PM’s press briefing, Nicki’s swiping at Piers Morgan now
Nicki Minaj has beef with Piers Morgan and she’s not mincing her words about the former breakfast TV host.
She’s called him a “stupid piece of shi*t.”
The pair got into a spat on social media after the former Good Morning Britain presenter took aim at Minaj after she shared misinformation about Covid. The rapper’s tweet became the focus of Tuesday’s government press conference.
“Professor Whitty beefing with the ghastly @NICKIMINAJ (one of the rudest little madams I’ve ever met) is not the breaking news that I expected today – but it’s most welcome. She’s peddling lies that will cost lives,” Morgan tweeted.
After Minaj hit back sarcastically saying she’d love to meet Morgan for tea and scones with him wearing a “clown nose & big red shoes,” Morgan claimed Minaj had blanked his three young children backstage during his presenting stint on America’s Got Talent.
Morgan wrote: “Madam, we met on @AGT when you appeared as a guest act – but you refused to say hello to my three young sons because you were ‘too busy’. Oh, and it’s ‘Piers’ – I know, we Brit names all sound alike.”
It’s fair to say Morgan’s retort properly triggered Minaj, who exploded back.
“Stop fkng lying,” she spat back.
Stop fkng lying. I never turn down pics with kids. If a middle person told you that, they were out of line. don’t blame me you stupid piece of shit. https://t.co/3zkFCOHwYu

“I never turn down pics with kids. If a middle person told you that, they were out of line. don’t blame me you stupid piece of shit.”
It comes amid a big week of headlines for Minaj, who earlier had claimed her friends’ testicles had swollen due to the vaccine. Minaj is not vaccinated and did not attend the Met Gala recently because they had a policy whereby attendees must have been jabbed.
The UK’s Chief medical officer Chris Whitty called Minaj’s claim untrue on Tuesday, stating that there is no link between the Covid vaccines and impotency.
“There are a number of myths that fly around… some of which are just clearly ridiculous, and some of which are clearly designed just to scare. That happens to be one of them. That is untrue,” Whitty said.
“In my view, they should be ashamed,” Whitty added of people spreading misinformation about Covid vaccines. “And I’ll leave it at that.”
Prime Minister Boris Johnson wasn’t aware of Minaj. He said: “I’m not as familiar with the works of Nicki Minaj as I probably should be.
“But I am familiar with Nikki Kanani, superstar GP of Bexley who’s appeared many times before you, who will tell you that vaccines are wonderful and everybody should get them. So I prefer to listen to Nikki Kanani.”
Florian Krammer, a professor at the Department of Microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, who specialises in viruses and vaccines, is one of many experts alongside Whitty who are calling out Minaj’s claim on social media.
In a post Krammer said: “Clamydia is a more likely explanation – and may also explain why the relationship ended. While there is unfortunately no licensed vaccine against chlamydia yet, there are vaccines against other STDs, like HBV and HPV. Maybe spread that information instead of misinformation.”
Minaj appeared back on social media with a bizarre British accent to respond to Johnson and Whitty’s criticisms after the press conference.
“Yes, hello prime minister Boris, it’s Nicki Minaj,” she said in a tweet with a sound recording embedded.
“I was just calling to tell you that I thought you were so amazing on the news this morning and I’m actually British. I was born there, I went to university there, I went to Oxford.
“I went to school with Margaret Thatcher and she told me so many nice things about you. I’d love to send you my portfolio of my work, since you don’t know much about me, I’m a big, big star in the United States.”
