The judge faced some harsh criticism online last night.
Sunday night saw the remaining two acts take to the stage for the X Factor final, however, there were plenty of other parts of the show that had the audience talking… Namely incredible performances from Pink and Little Mix, which left the audience begging for more.
However, there was one aspect of last night’s show that received quite a bit of criticism on Twitter last night – Nicole Scherzinger’s behaviour.
The former Pussycat Doll was clearly enjoying herself last night as she danced and cheered along to the Little Mix performance.
However, viewers weren’t so impressed with her response, taking to Twitter to brand the judge ‘attention seeking’.
Yes, many called Nicole’s reaction ‘embarrassing’ and compared her response to that of a ‘stage mom’.
#XFactor I really wish Nicole would stop vying for attention! Every time someone is on she’s on her feet! & the camera goes to her! She was up in front of the camera, in the way when little mix were on!

However, many others jumped in to defended the judge, saying she was showing the girls respect and love.
“The way Nicole is bigging Little Mix up is the way all girls should be towards each other,” wrote one user.
Nicole was often seen turning to the crowd to encourage them to support the girl group – a gesture that wasn’t missed.
“Nicole is a Little Mixer, through and through.”
