Nintendo are bring back the original NES console in time for Christmas

Nintendo have done it again.

After sewing up the mobile gaming market with the release of Pokemon Go, the Japanese company is offering up another slice of retro gaming nostalgia by bringing back the original NES console.

This week saw Nintendo announce they will re-release the original ’80s Nintendo Entertainment System on 11th November, in a new “Classic Mini” model, that comes packed with 30 GAMES BUILT IN.

For only £50. All that retro gaming goodness for FIFTY QUID.

What’s better yet is the console comes with its own HDMI support, so you can plug and play with your fancy new age televisions.

There’s a even a new save system, so you won’t have to leave your console running overnight to maintain your progress in the system. No password faff either.

With the Nintendo Classic Mini coming with games including ’80s classics like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, PAC-MAN and Kirby’s Adventure, it’s sure to be one of the big gaming buys for the Christmas period.

Nintendo are bring out all the treats for the system, including a pitch perfect revision of the original NES controller, as well as the ability for gamers to use their Wii classic or classic controller pros to play on the system.

The news received a lot of applause on social media. Never mind the new NX console won’t be here for Winter 2016, we’re getting our childhood faves back.
