Tucker’s confirmation comes a few months after the iconic Jackie Chan admitted that the script for Rush Hour 4 will probably be finished “next year” – which should be now.
The original Rush Hour earned an impressive $244.4 million at the worldwide box office against a budget of just $33 million.
To paraphrase Carter, ” 244 million dollars? Man, who do you think you kidnapped? Chelsea Clinton?”
Brett Ratner has directed the previous Rush Hour films but his involvement in any future film is uncertain after the recent sexual assault allegations that were made against him.
