He’s not a happy man.
Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz gave a passionate and acerbic response when asked about Nigel Farage’s decision to step down as the leader of UKIP in the aftermath of Brexit.
Waltz, who burst into mainstream consciousness as the despicable Col. Hans Landa in the superb Inglourious Basterds, branded Farage as the “head rat” who is leaving “the sinking ship” after the controversial politician quit as the head of UKIP on Monday, saying that he couldn’t achieve more.
It didn’t go down well with a score of people, and that it included Waltz, who made his feelings very clear when asked his opinion on the matter in this Sky News interview for his new movie, The Legend of Tarzan.
Saying that he can’t “comprehend the abysmal stupidity” of Brexit, this really does make for compelling viewing.
Take a look.
