Great news for fans of Ozark
Jason Bateman, the star, director and executive producer of Netflix‘s popular crime drama Ozark has confirmed that the show will be returning for a third season.
Season 2 dropped on August 31 and Netflix has wasted no time in renewing the show.
The second season, which starred Bateman and Laura Linney, continues to follow Marty Byrde (Bateman) and his family as they navigate the murky waters of life within a dangerous drug cartel. By the sounds of it, Season 3 will find Byrde in more trouble than ever before.
It’s no huge surprise that the show has been picked up for yet another season — having clocked in as one of the most streamed shows of the summer.
Deadline has confirmed that the Ozark’s third season will run for 10 episodes.
As it stands, no air-date has been confirmed for Season 3 just yet.
