With both the Star Wars movies and the Marvel movies owned by Disney, there was always going to be some casting crossovers.
Andy Serkis is bad guy Supreme Leader Snoke in The Force Awakens and is due to return in The Last Jedi, but also played Ulysses Klaus in Age of Ultron and will be back for Black Panther.
Mads Mikkelsen was the villain in Doctor Strange, and was the estranged father to the hero in Rogue One, and Benicio Del Toro played the weirdo Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy, and is set to appear in The Last Jedi later this year.
The list goes on, so when director Ron Howard (who replaced the original directors a few months back) posted a pic on Twitter of a new cast addition to the new standalone Han Solo prequel, it was a pleasant surprise, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Yep, that is Paul Bettany, who plays the all-powerful purple life-form Vision in the Avengers, now a part of the new Star Wars movie.
Ironically, the as-yet-untitled Han Solo movie is set for release in May 2018, just a few days after Bettany heads into another intergalactic battle-zone for Avengers: Infinity War.
However, take another look at Bettany’s costume in the pic. None other than professional funny-person Seth Rogen pointed it out:
If he's just visiting he dresses funny

That outfit remind you anyone?
Admittedly, the fact they’re both wearing a white shirt and a dark coloured hoodie thing over it isn’t enough to shout the headline “Paul Bettany Is Playing Obi-Wan!”, but between the fact that the Han Solo movie is a set before the events of A New Hope, the recent announcement by Variety that Obi-Wan Kenobi is due to get his own spin-off movie, and just this week Business Insider got their eyes on a new The Last Jedi toy that looks remarkably similar to Obi-Wan, there are a lot of clues pointing us in that direction.
Either that, or Howard just wanted to dress his The Da Vinci Code mate up like him to drive the fan-boys wild with theories.
