Some very impressive numbers, it has to be said
The Paul brothers – Jake and Logan – reportedly made more Pay Per View (PPV) sales than any other boxer in the year of 2021.
Logan Paul revealed the hugely impressive statistic during his most recent appearance on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani – claiming that the two fighters had achieved over 2.7 million in PPV buys.

His younger brother Jake topped the charts, amassing a total of 1.5m PPV sales for his fight against former UFC star Ben Askren, whom he beat with a sensational first-round knockout just one minute and 59 seconds into the round. This smashed the likes of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder out of the park.
Joshua vs Usyk achieved 1.2m buys, almost double Fury vs Wilder’s 600,000.
Logan, meanwhile, saw 1.2m purchases for his fight against the legendary Floyd Mayweather which was officially classed as an exhibition match.
Although no official winner was announced, the fight went the full eight rounds and recorded impressive figures – despite the fight taking place on a Sunday.
Logan’s fight with Floyd Mayweather roughly equalled Joshua vs Usyk with 1.2m buys.
Whilst speaking to Helwani, Logan admitted he was surprised how many people tuned in to watch his fight against the 45-year-old Mayweather, saying “he couldn’t believe it.”
Meanwhile, Logan also took aim at Mayweather and claimed that he is still yet to receive full payment following their fight back in July 2021.
“I’ve not been paid in full, that is a fact,” Logan said.
“There also have been alleged under the table cash deals that I was excluded from even though my name and likeness was used to sell our fight. He’s in for multiple lawsuits for this fight already.
“He used the verbiage, ‘legalised bank robbery’ when describing but turns out it wasn’t so legal [laughs]. We’re just trying to collect what’s rightfully ours.
“It sucks that he came out recently and said something like, ‘This is the name of the game. This is how it works in boxing,’ but I don’t know if it is.
“I think after you fight you should probably get paid. I don’t think it takes this long to count the money.”
