Including stars of Pirates of the Carribean, Game of Thrones and The Football Factory
The fifth season of Peaky Blinders is currently in production, with the Midlands-set period crime drama set to make the jump from BBC 2 to BBC 1 when it returns.
We’ve slowly been getting little bits of info about the new series – but the BBC has just announced a list of new names joining the cast. And it is a pretty impressive collection of talent, especially for a BBC TV show.
Probably the biggest name is Sam Claflin, who you might recognise from The Hunger Games and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Another notable addition is Neil Maskell, who starred in the brilliantly dark British horror Kill List and the great Channel 4 sci-fi show Utopia, as well as appearing in The Football Factory,Â
Other names include Brian Gleeson (the son of Brendan Gleeson), and Kate Dickie, who played Lysa Arryn in Game of Thrones.
Anna Taylor-Joy, from The Witch and Split, had previously been announced as joining the cast.
