The first trailer was released on Tuesday.
Horror fans have been left delighted after the first trailer dropped for a new horror film featuring Anya Taylor-Joy.
Directed by Edgar Wright, famous for directing the ‘Cornetto Trilogy’ and Baby Driver, Last Night In Soho looks like a mind-bending psychological horror featuring The Queen’s Gambit star Taylor-Joy and Matt Smith, star of Doctor Who and The Crown.
The film will also mark the final appearances of both Diana Rigg and Margaret Nolan, who sadly passed away in September and October 2020 respectively.
The film focuses on Eloise, a budding fashion designer (McKenzie) who mysteriously enters Sixties London to cross paths and apparently blur identities with her muse, the dazzling singer Sandy (Taylor-Joy).
And even though it is not set to be released until October this year, fans are already expressing their excitement and are calling it the “best film of 2021” – from the trailer alone.

Others were delighted to see that Wright had made another venture into the world of horror.
Last Night In Soho is now my most anticipated film of 2021, this seriously looks incredible!! I’ve always wanted Edgar Wright to direct another horror film and this seriously looks like on a whole other level. https://t.co/Ev2I4Wq9rD

There’s a bit of time to wait yet though, as the film is not scheduled for release until 22 October. However this trailer has certainly whet the appetite of many, and the hype is very real for this one.
