That’s some first impression.
What’s in a name? For the majority of us, we’re stuck with mundane, normal and everyday first names like Sarah and Steve, but there are always benefits from having a name that stands out from the crowd, especially when it comes to making a romantic first impression.
With this in mind, First Dates has introduced us to a man that has a better moniker than Max Power and McLovin. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Deadly.
Yes, that’s right. This gentleman goes by the name of Deadly.
Well, his parents actually called him Steve, but he prefers the name Deadly so that’s what we’re going to call him.
The 33-year-old app designer definitely stood out from the dating crowd, but it appears that he might have a bit in common with Blazin’ Squad.
When asked about how he got this nickname, Deadly said: “I was sort of thinking of coming up with an interesting reason why I could be called Deadly and it was like ‘capture crocodiles’ or ‘a sniper in the military’. But no, it was just like “in a garage crew in the late 90s,” he said.
Well, Deadly is a name that belongs alongside other MC titles like Flava, Freek and Melo-D.
We especially love the fact that he referred to his musical days as something that resembled “a white, middle-class Wu-Tang Clan.”
After the most recent episode, it appears that Britain has a new favourite name.
