Countdown is a nice TV programme.
It’s a show that you usually watch with your granny, sipping a small cup of tea while she grills you about the lad you stopped going out with two years ago and asks what you’re planning on doing with your life now that you’ve spent all your parents’ money on that arts degree.
It’s a simple show.
There’s letters, numbers, a clock, and that’s generally about it really.
Oh, and there’s also Rachel Riley who, from time to time, provides a bit of youthful relief from the monotony of spelling and counting based fun.
Good for her.
On Wednesday, however, Rachel provided more than that in the form of a very specific phrase that she made on the letters board.
The contestants had already discovered that the letters spelt ‘squirt’ so away they went with that.
It was Rachel, however, who was left standing next to a very specific set of words, or as one might say on Countdown – a sentence.

Yep.
She did it, alright.
We’re saying nothing.
