Rapper Rollie Bands was shot dead outside his home minutes after sharing a message with his haters on Instagram.
The Florida rapper was gunned down outside his apartment complex on Friday after sharing the social media post.
“A lot of these n*****s know where I live at fr,” he wrote on his Instagram story, HipHopDX reports.
“I sleep in peace. If a n***** want smoke I’m at my crib in 5 mins.”
Instagram @rolliebandsThe star was shot once in the parking lot of his apartment complex at around 3.30pm – just five minutes after posting the message on social media, New York Post reports.
The publication said the suspects fled the scene, and remain at large. Bands was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
A statement from the Hillsborough Country Sheriff’s Office said: “At this time, the shooting does not appear random, as the suspects and victim are possibly known to each other.”

One Twitter user wrote: “Rest in paradise to Rollie Bands. So sad and senseless. He should still be alive.”
“RIP to Rollie Bands and I hope this be a lesson to all the young men who think ish is a game,” another said, “Everybody not playing out here.”
