Rio Ferdinand and Michelle Keegan are going to be heading into The Crystal Maze for a new celebrity special.
As part of Channel 4’s “Stand Up To Cancer” campaign, a number of celebrities will be taking on the rebooted Crystal Maze as part of a special episode.

The adopted Manchester duo of Rio and Michelle will also be joined by Paralympics champ Jonnie Peacock, TV and radio host Sara Cox, and comedian Josh Widdicombe.
Quite an eclectic mix, but one we’re hoping will do well to take on the Aztec, Medieval, Futuristic and Industrial zones that made the original Crystal Maze such a hit.
New host Stephen Merchant will be helping the team around their challenges, before taking them into the titular Crystal Maze itself. Any proceeds raised by the team during the challenges will be donated to Cancer Research UK as part of the campaign.

Airing sometime next month, the celebrity Crystal Maze special will also be joined by a special four-part celebrity themed edition of The Island with Bear Grylls.
