A new documentary about Charlotte and Linda Mulhall – dubbed the ‘Scissor Sisters’ by Irish media – and their killing of Farah Swaleh Noor has been added to Prime Video in the UK.

Currently the No. 1 most-watched TV show on the streaming service in Ireland, the three-part Amazon original series is titled The Murderous Scissor Sisters and looks back on one of the country’s “most gruesome and brutal cases”.

The plot synopsis for the documentary reads: “That two young women could stab and beat to death their mother’s boyfriend is appalling enough.

“But Charlotte and Linda Mulhall sank to extreme levels of depravity when they mutilated Farah Swaleh Noor’s body and then dumped his chopped-up remains in Dublin’s Royal Canal.”

The series is said to explore the events that led to the killing of Noor, who had a history of violence against women, and the subsequent investigation into the death which was one of the “most intensive police hunts in Irish history”.

One person in the documentary trailer – which can be watched here – describes the killing as “one of the most notorious and horrific” Ireland ever witnessed.

The Murderous Scissor Sisters is streaming on Prime Video in its entirety in the UK and Ireland.
