That’s the weekend binge sorted
In 24, it was practically impossible to kill special agent Jack Bauer and the same can be said for Kiefer Sutherland’s latest beloved character, Tom Kirkman.
After news that Designated Survivor had been saved by Netflix, we’re delighted to say that President Tom Kirkman’s re-election campaign is now available to watch on Netflix because Season 3 of the beloved drama has been released.
Oh yes, eight months after the original ABC series was cancelled, Netflix have come to the rescue for your streaming pleasure.
Depending on where you live, Designated Survivor Season 3 is either minutes or hours from starting. If you check it out I hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. @DesignatedNFLX pic.twitter.com/AN6zFYxq8S

As for the plot of the new season, Deadline have previously reported that the 10 episodes will see President Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) finding himself in new political terrain, campaigning.
The new season will dive into the cutthroat world of campaigning and tackle today’s issues of what that entails – smear tactics, debates, fake news and the importance of campaign finances.
Neal Baer will be the new showrunner for the political thriller – he’s the series’ fifth showrunner since its beginning – and Mckenna Grace, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, Tanner Buchanan, Maggie Q, and Kal Penn are all set to star alongside Sutherland.
If you need a catchup, Designated Survivor follows Tom Kirkman (Sutherland), a low-level cabinet member who’s thrust into the presidency after a terrorist attack during the State of the Union wipes out the president and all of those in line for the office.
The first two seasons are also available to watch on Netflix, so you’ve got plenty of time for a binge watch.
