We’re starting to think those tasked with stoppingĀ ISIS have been looking in all the wrong places.
As politicians turn to terror experts for advice on defeating the Islamic State, late-90s reggae star Shaggy is providing advice for free.
No, you didn’t read that wrong. The man behind such hits as It Wasn’t Me and Boombastic has told ISIS to “go f**k themselves”, and it seems he knows what the world needs to do.
Speaking to the Miami New Times, the 46-year-old said: “ISIS can go f**k themselves. Thatās some crazy s**t what theyāre doing”.
He suggested the militant group could be stopped using two things – Shaggy’s music, and marijuana.
“There are two things you want to do when you listen to reggae: You get somebody pregnant, or youāre f**king high. High people donāt want to kill nothing; they want to love,” he added.
Of course, if Shaggy gets into trouble for his comments he’ll have a ready-made solution – just say “it wasn’t me”.
