“I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy.”
Sharon Osbourne has revealed she tested positive for Covid 19 and spent a “brief” time in hospital.
The TV host revealed the news in a tweet earlier today. She also revealed that her husband Ozzy tested negative for the virus.
I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19. After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while “The Talk” is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.

The tweet read: “I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19.
“After a brief hospitalisation, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”
Last week, Sharon’s co-host Carrie Ann Inaba revealed that she had tested positive for Covid-19 too and was at home “resting and taking care” of herself.
Carrie posted the news on Instagram, saying: “Hey everyone, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I’m home with some symptoms and will be sequestering as per the CDC guidelines, resting and taking care of myself.
“I have been in a very safe environment following all the guidelines and safety protocols and it still found it’s way to me. So, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season. Wear your masks, socially and physically keep your distance, and wash your hands. Take care everyone. And I’ll keep you updated on my journey.”

California is currently seeing a surge in Covid cases and most of the state is under a stay at home order.
Last week TV host Ellen DeGeneres also revealed she had tested positive for Covid. She tweeted: “Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now.
“Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. Please stay healthy and safe, Love, Ellen.”
Other celebrities who contracted the virus this year include Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Lewis Hamilton and Idris Elba.
