Poor old Ed.
Ed Sheeran is one of the most talked about musicians right now. With a record-breaking album and leading Spotify and official charts, you can’t go one day without hearing or seeing something about him.
This latest story about the singer, though, is rather unfortunate. He’s been the victim in a prank that has made the internet laugh.
Radio DJ Greg James decided to send out the hashtag #Sheeranalbumparty on Twitter, a nod to Susan Boyle’s similar hashtag that went viral in 2012 for her album party.
In honour of #Susanalbumparty, we’re having an impromptu #Sheeranalbumparty. Gonna listen to some of Ed’s album #LOLathon

It’s supposed to read Sheeran album party but when pushed together it can read something entirely different.
It went down a treat online with people laughing about it.
#sheeranalbumparty is trending. It’s like the great SuBo PR disaster of 2012 all over again.

#Sheeranalbumparty – they really haven’t learned anything from Su’s Anal Bum Party have they?

The #sheeranalbumparty hashtag makes me feel old. So many people apparently have no idea Susan Boyle had an anal bum party way before Ed.

Ed Sheeran’s publicist will surely win some sort of award for #sheeranalbumparty by the end of the year. Stroke of genius.
