Hammer time
In the excellent Thor: Ragnarok, Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder loses his iconic Mjolnir hammer after Hela, the goddess of death (Cate Blanchet) shatters it into a million pieces. A big plot point of Infinity War is Thor trying to get his hands on a replacement (no spoilers) – but what if he wasn’t able to get something all cool and powerful and intergalactic?
What if he just had to get a regular hammer?
I’m sure this is not something that has crossed your mind. You have more important things to think about. You can’t be wasting your time on hypothetical superhero
But thankfully, some has considered it.

Sixty-six thousand shared, there. It looks so weirdly perfect, doesn’t it? Just imagine, Thor causally doing some DIY at the weekend. Putting up some shelves. Building a shed.
What if he had to just go down to B&Q on a bank holiday and got a regular hammer? What is he had to stand in line with everyone else, and then just walk out with a normal claw hammer, and then take it into battle with Thanos and stuff? Thor acting like Hank Hill?
Is it as good as Ryan Gosling in Drive though?
Or the guy from Oldboy?
