90s kids, you may want to go ahead and take a seat.
OK good, now prepare to leap to your feet in “no f***ing way” joy when we tell you that a sequel to the greatest film ever made (that stars both Bill Murray and Michael Jordan) could be coming your way.
Rumours are that the 21st century’s answer to Jordan, LeBron James, is set to take the lead role opposite the supremely talented Bugs Bunny.
James and his company SpringHill Entertainment have joined forces with Warner Bros. Entertainment in a deal to produce content across digital, television and film. That’s right, film!
Reporter Alex Weprin revealed Warner Bros had filed for a trademark renewal on the Space Jam franchise. This doesn’t mean a whole lot, because they already own the film trademark, but the fact that it coincides with their deal with LeBron could mean that new merchandise is on their minds.

While this is all conjecture, any rumour about Space Jam 2 has to be taken seriously. Very seriously.
