Fans aren’t happy.
Although the X Factor has long been tarred with rumours that it is fixed, the same is happening with Strictly this year as viewers suggest the scoring is completely unfair.
Many have taken to Twitter to share their disbelief at some of the decisions made by the four judges, with people pointing out that scoring this year is ‘inconsistent’.
For example, Gemma Atkinson’s performance was heavily criticised by the panel and it has been suggested that there is favouritism towards Debbie McGee.
Why don't they just give Debbie the glitter ball now, strictly is 100%Fixed,the judges are a joke all of them #Strictly

Catching up on #Strictly and I’m sorry but the Judges are just bluntly biased this year. They’ve had the winner since week one its not fair

Debbie will step on the floor and the judges will hold up their 10 paddles… Probably #Strictly

There was anger that Gemma’s performance was undermarked and this seems to be a common opinion among fans.
7's for Gemma.. WHAT THE HELL! Why do they ALWAYS undermark her 😡😡😡 #Strictly

Catching up on last night's telly – I feel the judges are being a bit harsh to Gemma #Strictly

Others have said that there’s something strange going on with the marking and the comments made aren’t reflecting the scores.
The judges make no sense. Ripped into Aljaz & Gemma, gave them 7’s. Ripped into Ruth & Anton, gave them 4’s & 5’s. Liked Susan & Kevin, they got low & high #strictly

This development comes after last week’s results shows when Aston Merrygold left the competition and this didn’t go down too well with Strictly’s many fans.
Aston had scored highly week after week and yet when it came down to it, Mollie K who dances with professional partner AJ Pritchard was saved instead.
It’s all happening this year.
